Char dham yatra is a tour of the four hindu holy places namely Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath.

Yamunotri Dham: Yamunotri dham lies on the western side of garhawal Himalayas, in uttarkashi district of uttrakhand. This dham is about 3,293 metres above the sea level; Yamuna is the second most scared river which originates in yamunotri dham. It is said that all sins are washed away if you take a bath in holy water of Yamuna.

Gangotri Dham: It is located in the Himalayan range in uttarkashi district at the height of 3100 meters. Gangotri dham is among the char dham which is very special holy place of hindu. The holy river is also known as Ganga maa which originates from the gangotri glacier, taking a tour for a gangotri dham gives a peace to the soul of hindu.

Kedarnath dham: This dham is located on the garhwal Himalayan range near Mandakini River, this dham only open for the general public in the months of april and November because of the extreme weather conditions. Another best thing is you need to trek 22 kms to reach the dham, so tour of this dham will make you feel alive and can find internal peace.

Badrinath Dham: This dham is also known as badrinarayan, it is among four dham which is situated in the town of uttarakhand. This dham is located in garhwal hill in chamoli district near Alaknanda River; it is one of the most visited holy places of india.

Your yatra will begin when you enter the amazing holy city of uttarakhand; it will take around 10 days to perform char dham yatra by road. You can also take a tour of char dham yatra by helicopter which will take around 2 days to complete the tour.
